In July of 2008, Linda collaborated on a book project with Cindy Scinto. Cindy had approached Linda and asked her to consider a painting she could use to develop for a book she was publishing. Cindy needed artwork and calligraphy for the title.

  Linda created a watercolor portrait of (b) Cindy from a photograph she took. (a) She then created the title in calligraphy (c) that was scanned to computer and modified by Cindy to add color and texture. (d)

  The book came together as the 2 discussed the story of trials, tragedy, and yet triumph as Cindy battled life-threatening medical problems. The front cover illustrates the tornado of life (e) but when turning the book over, the back leads to the sun rising after the storm.   The book has been a great success with many readers attracted not only to the amazing story, but the gripping cover and artwork!
